SpuKit Product Editor ("we", "our", or "the App") is a Shopify application that helps merchants manage product data, specifications, and content modules. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our App.

2. Information We Collect

When you install and use the App, we access the following data through the Shopify Admin API:

• Product information (titles, descriptions, images, variants, pricing)
• Product metafields and metaobjects
• Collection data
• Inventory levels and locations
• Store navigation structure
• File/media assets uploaded through the App

We do not collect any personal data from your customers or store visitors. We do not collect payment information, email addresses, or browsing behavior of end users.

3. Authentication

We use Shopify's standard OAuth 2.0 authorization flow for authentication. Your access token is stored securely in our database and is used solely to communicate with the Shopify Admin API on your behalf. We do not store your Shopify account password.

4. How We Use Information

We use the collected data exclusively to:

• Display and edit product information within the App interface
• Sync product configurations and specifications to Shopify metafields
• Manage media assets and content modules
• Provide batch operations on products (status, pricing, inventory, etc.)

5. Data Storage

Product configuration data is stored in a local SQLite database on our server. This data is used to provide the App's functionality and is not shared with any third parties. All data is associated with your Shopify store domain and is isolated from other merchants' data.

6. Third-Party Services

The App may use Google Gemini AI for optional AI-assisted features (e.g., generating product descriptions, extracting specifications). When you use these features, relevant product data is sent to Google's API for processing. No data is sent to third parties without your explicit action.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

When you uninstall the App, your session data is automatically removed. Product configuration data stored in our database will be deleted within 30 days of uninstallation. Metafield data written to your Shopify store remains in your store and is under your control.

8. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption for all communications, secure token storage, and HMAC signature verification for webhooks.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to the data we store about your store
• Request deletion of your data at any time
• Uninstall the App, which triggers automatic data cleanup
